Job description:

Busy firm in Vero Beach, FL is seeking has a Full-Charge Bookkeeper job opening with our team. Duties included working with multiple clients in our bookkeeping department, client correspondence and relationships, financial reports, bank reconciliations, data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, sales tax filings, etc. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage busy workflow, have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop strong business partnerships with both clients and co-workers, and consistently meet or exceed our customer service standards. The candidate will be detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and meet established deadlines.


The job position will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling bank statements and all other responsibilities listed below.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconcile bank & credit card statements.

  • Ensure financial data is entered correctly and accurately.

  • Prepare financial reports using computerized accounting systems and QuickBooks Online

  • Collections

  • Knowledge of GAAP

  • Sales tax preparation

  • Communication with clients and/or team

  • Analyze general ledgers.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

  • Experience in payroll processing.

  • Perform data entry and administrative duties.

  • Prior tax preparation a plus


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience in a CPA firm

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks/QuickBooks online, Microsoft office

  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

  • Experience making general journal entries

  • MUST have experience bookkeeping for multiple clients simultaneously
